- Undo is now personal in a shared session: ⌘Z takes back your own last change, never your co-writer's.

Voice-note drafts now hear the chords you actually played
- Starting a song from a voice note now recognizes the chords from your strummed instrument itself — including chords outside the key, sus and seventh colors, and even a mid-song key change — instead of only picking from the seven chords of one guessed key.
- The key on your draft now comes from the harmony you played, which is far more reliable on a rough phone take than guessing it from the sung melody.
- Every detected chord is still a suggestion you can edit: when the recording is genuinely unclear for a bar, Lyrora now leaves that bar empty rather than printing a guess.

Voice-note drafts follow your actual playing
- Starting a song from a voice note now listens for the real beat of your recording — including the way a live take naturally speeds up and slows down — instead of assuming one fixed tempo throughout.
- Lyrics and chords land in the right bars far more often (roughly four out of five bars on our test worktapes, up from about half), so the draft needs much less shuffling around.
- It also makes a careful guess at the time signature (4/4, 3/4 or 6/8) from where the downbeats fall — shown as a suggestion you can change, never a hard claim.
- Everything still happens on your device: the beat tracking is plain math, no AI involved.

A clean printout from a shared song link
- Printing or saving a PDF from a shared song link now gives you the same clean, branded chord sheet you get inside Lyrora — just the title, key, chords and lyrics on white paper.
- Before, printing a shared link captured the whole web page — the card outline, the share banner and the sign-up panel all came along. Those are gone now, and the saved PDF is named after the song.
- The same goes for a shared saved-version link, whose printout is named after that version.

Share one saved version of a song
- In Share & export you can now share a specific saved version by its own read-only link — send someone "the radio edit" while you keep reworking the live draft.

The Live screen can follow your singing
- The Live screen has a new "Follow" mode: instead of scrolling on a fixed timer, it listens through your mic and scrolls the chart to wherever you are in the lyrics.
- It's forgiving — a mis-heard word or a skipped section self-corrects on the next few words — and it's off by default, so your manual and timed scrolling work exactly as before.
- Only shows up in browsers that support voice recognition, and it uses your microphone just to track the words, nothing else.

Pasted songs that change key now keep up
- When you paste a full lyrics-and-chords sheet into a new song, Lyrora now spots where the song shifts to a new key mid-way and marks that key change on the section for you.

Song coach now talks about the music too
- The Song coach has two tabs now: Lyrics (the feedback you already know) and a new Music tab.

A "Released" lane on your Songs board
- The Songs board has a new "Released" column for songs that are out in the world — the finish line after Ideas, Writing, Done and Recording.
- Connect a release to a song (in its "Next steps" tab) and it moves to "Released" automatically — with the cover art shown on its board card and list row, a "Live" badge and quick links to where it's streaming.
- Cards now also show a song's next move at a glance — what you're waiting on and when — so the board tells you what needs you without opening anything.

Connect a song to its real-world release
- Once a song is out, paste one streaming link in its "Next steps" tab — Spotify, Apple Music, anything — and Lyrora finds everywhere else it lives (Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, Tidal, Amazon and more) and links them all in one place.
- It also fills in the song's ISRC, UPC and release date automatically, and shows your IPI from the split sheet alongside — so the song's release details live with the song.
- A "Re-check" button refreshes the links later, as more platforms pick the release up.

Next steps: keep a finished song moving
- A new "Next steps" tab on every song, separate from your board lane: set the one next move, who owns it (you, a co-writer, or anyone outside Lyrora — a producer, a sync contact), whether you're waiting on them, and an optional follow-up date.
- Tag where a song is headed — self-produce, an external producer, pitch for sync, pitch to another artist, your own release, or on hold — and these can run side by side.
- A "Ready to move?" checklist fills itself in from the song (lyrics, chords, a demo, credits & splits, clearance) — nothing to maintain by hand.

Worktape drafts: the words now land in time
- When you start a song from a worktape, the lyrics are now placed on the bars you actually sang them over — so the words and the chords line up on the same timeline and you can play the recording along with the draft.
- Lines break roughly two bars at a time and split into parts where your singing pauses, instead of being shaped only from the text.
- It's still a rough draft to refine — but the timing should feel a lot closer to how you sang it.

Start a song from a voice note
- Got a phone worktape — you and a guitar in one take? Upload it (or pick an existing voice memo) and Lyrora drafts a song from it: the lyrics, laid out into verses and choruses, plus a best-effort key and tempo.
- Find it as “Start from a voice note” in the New song window, an Upload button in Ideas, or “✦ Song” on any voice memo.
- Nothing is set in stone — you review the key, tempo and words first and edit anything before the song is created, with your recording kept alongside it. Chord detection from the guitar is coming in a later update.

Sing into a blank song — your words land in the lines
- Record into a new song and actually sing the words: when you stop, Lyrora transcribes the take and drops the lyrics into the lines that grew, each one on the part you sang it over.
- Already have a recording on a track? Tap the new pen on any take to transcribe it, check what it heard, then “Fill in” that part or the whole song.
- It uses one of your AI assists and can be switched off with the rest of AI; the auto-filled lyrics are their own undo, so one ⌘Z clears them while keeping the lines.

Record into a blank song — it lays down the lines for you
- Start a new song, hit Record on a track, and just sing: a count-in leads you in, then blank lines appear in time with the beat as you go — the song writes its own timing.
- Stop whenever; you're left with a tidy run of empty lines the right length, with your take sitting underneath, ready to type the lyrics straight in.
- The whole recorded skeleton is a single undo, so one ⌘Z clears it if you want to start over.

Find chords from a recorded track
- Recorded a melody onto a track? Hit the ✦ on a take to detect its key and get chords that fit — the same offline magic as the hum tool, now on your tracks.
- Fill them straight into the editor: a part recording fills that section, a whole-song take fills chords across the whole song, each on the right bar.

Tracks: live volume + record part by part
- The track volume fader and mute now work live — slide or mute while the song plays and you hear it change instantly, no need to restart playback.
- Build a track up part by part: each track has a “Record onto” picker, so you can lay down Verse 1, then later the Chorus, all on the same Vocal track — each part sits in its own spot on the timeline.
- Recordings are now grouped by part inside a track, and you pick the keeper version per part. They play layered when you hit Play.

Record your own tracks, in time with the song
- New in the Recordings tab: up to three tracks you can record onto — perfect for catching a melody, harmonies, or strumming the chords on your own guitar.
- Hit Record on a track and you get a count-in, then the click and chords play on your earbuds so you can sing or play along — the take lands in time with the song.
- Play the song and your tracks play with it. Mute or unmute each one, set its volume, and layer several at once.
- Want to write over your own guitar instead of the built-in chords? Just switch the Chords toggle off — the metronome and your tracks keep playing.

“Find chords from this hum” actually hears you now
- Humming a take and tapping “Find chords from this hum” was almost always answering “couldn't hear a clear melody”, even on a clear, steady hum. Fixed — it now reliably picks up the tune.
- The pitch detection is sturdier: it no longer mistakes a hum for a note an octave off, so the key it lands on and the chords it suggests are far more trustworthy.

Grab a line, duplicate a line
- Selecting one line is now effortless: press in a line's empty space and give a little drag — that line is selected. No more sweeping over a neighbour and back.
- Copy a line and paste to duplicate it: select a line, ⌘C, then ⌘V drops an exact copy — words, chords and timing — on the line right below. Keep tapping ⌘V to stack more.
- Works for a block too: select several lines, copy, and paste to duplicate the whole run just beneath it.

A warm welcome for beta testers
- If you're in the closed beta, a short welcome now greets you the first time you sign in — what the beta's about, and a quick nudge that nothing you try can hurt a real release.
- It points out the Feedback button (always there, bottom-right) and explains it grabs a screenshot and the details for you, so reporting a bug or sharing an idea takes seconds.
- Want to read it again? Open Feedback and tap “What's the beta about?”. It stays out of the way of the guided editor tour — you'll never get two pop-ups at once.

Key changes — modulate mid-song
- Lift a section into a new key: hover any section header, hit “+ key” and pick the key it changes to (the bridge in B♭, the last chorus a step up). A clear “Key change → …” banner marks the spot.
- From a key change onward, the chord suggestions, the “chords that fit” palette and the Roman numerals all follow the new key — no more being offered chords from the key you just left. The Chords panel tells you which section's key it's suggesting for.
- Just changing the key relabels everything and leaves your chords untouched — or tap “Move chords” to slide that section's existing chords into the new key in one go.

Words tuck up against their anchored beat
- When you pin a word to a beat in the chord grid, the words just before it now sit right in front of it instead of stranding at the start of the line — “So” snuggles up to an anchored “take”.
- Pin the second word of a line to the first beat and the word before it slides left into the pickup, so the anchored word lines up exactly on the beat — “When I…” now puts “I” right on beat 1.

Select, cut & paste whole lines
- Work with more than one line at a time: triple-click a line to grab it, then Shift-click another (or hold Shift and press ↑/↓) to select a whole block — or drag down the side of the lines.
- Cut, copy and paste those lines like in a real text editor — and the chords and timing come along, so you can move a section of a verse into the chorus without re-typing or re-charting anything.
- Press ⌘A (Ctrl+A) once to select the section you're in, again for the whole song; Backspace clears the selected lines, and a single ⌘Z puts everything back.
- Paste plain words into another app — Notes, a message — and you just get the lyrics, neatly one line each.

Section names travel with your MIDI export
- Export a song to MIDI and your section names (Verse, Chorus, Bridge…) now ride along as markers — so when you open it in Cubase, Logic, Reaper, Pro Tools or Studio One, your song's structure is laid out on the timeline, not just a wall of chords.

Co-writing, with roles and live cursors
- Set a co-writer to “Viewer” to share a song read-only — they can see everything but can’t change it. “Editor” (the default) keeps full access. Change it any time from the song’s Settings.
- Co-writing is more alive: you’ll see a bandmate’s cursor move through the lyrics in real time, and the part someone’s editing is gently marked so you don’t talk over each other.
